Chief Executive Officer and President
Sean Stapleton serves as the President and CEO of Warrantech Corporation. Mr. Stapleton has previously held positions as Vice President of Legal and Governmental Affairs for National Electronics Warranty (N.E.W.) and has served in various leadership capacities at Warranty Corporation of America, an Asurion company. A board member and advisor to multiple entities in the specialty risk industry, he has also lent his services as an acting member of the Executive Committee for the Service Contract Industry Council (SCIC). Stapleton has developed, implemented and maintained service contract programs for an extensive list of Fortune 500 retailers, manufacturers and telecommunications providers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from State University of New York in Oswego, NY and a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University.
Ariel Gorelik, Chief Operating Officer
Ariel Gorelik is the Chief Operating Officer for Warrantech, and has made a name for himself thanks to his strategic vision and for the ability to increase product visibility. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President for our parent company, AmTrust Financial, and held a similar position with Zurich North America. With 15 years of insurance and extended warranty experience, Mr. Gorelik has gained vast experience working abroad and speaks fluent English, Russian and German, and is conversant in Hebrew as well.
Steve Knapp, CFO
Steve Knapp serves as Chief Financial Officer of Warrantech and Vice President of Finance for AmTrust North America. Knapp directs the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the company. Since 2006, Knapp has been the Vice President of Finance for AmTrust North America. From 2001 to 2006, he served as the corporate controller for SIRVA Relocation and, previously, Knapp served as Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance at PRS Insurance Group. He began his career at Coopers and Lybrand. Knapp is a certified public accountant and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in accounting, from Bowling Green State University in 1990.
Bruce Saulnier, Executive Vice President
Bruce Saulnier has held senior management positions with AmTrust since 1997 and has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Mr. Saulnier currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of AmTrust North America’s Special Risk Division. In 1997, Mr. Saulnier created the Special Risk business unit, which is responsible for the development of product offerings, cultivating markets, and new client prospecting. In addition, he has provided guidance and strategic direction to AmTrust clients in all aspects of their sales and marketing of service contracts and insurance based products.
Tom Scott, Senior Vice President - Corporate Development
Tom is accountable for structuring sales strategies and warranty growth opportunities throughout North American. Managing the sales team for Warrantech’s CPS (Consumer Product Services) division – Tom identifies emerging consumer products with colleagues that will allow Warrantech to design and fulfill extended service protection plans for a diversity of clients in the retail and online shopping environments. Tom is a member of the American Marketing Association, National Retail Association and volunteers on numerous local non-profit organizations. Tom is a graduate from the University of Utah (Economics & Sociology), Westminster College (MBA) and holds specialized marketing certificates from Stanford University.
Susan Linder, General Counsel
Susan serves as General Counsel for Warrantech and its parent, AMT Warranty Corp. Previously, Susan served as General Counsel for an insurance TPA owned by AEGON. Susan oversees all of the legal and risk management concerns of the organization and works closely with the members of her team as well as the members of the AmTrust Legal/Regulatory Compliance team. Susan has responsibility for overseeing client contract negotiations, the review of consumer-facing marketing materials and communications with key regulatory contacts within the industry. Susan is a graduate of Northwestern University Law School and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Chris Murphy, Executive Vice President, Automotive Division
Chris Murphy is Executive Vice President of Warrantech’s Automotive Division. Murphy joined Warrantech in January, 2011 as Executive Vice President of Sales and now oversees the Automotive Division. Murphy brings more than 19 years of experience in the administration of vehicle service contracts to Warrantech. He has held several executive positions prior to joining Warrantech, including with Interstate National. Murphy is also instrumental in developing and expanding Warrantech’s practice in automotive, recreational vehicles, watercraft and heavy equipment products by leveraging his extensive background in these industries.
Mike Burgholzer, Senior Vice President, Automotive Division
Michael Burgholzer is the Senior Vice President of Warrantech Automotive. Burgholzer joined Warrantech in January of 2011 as Senior Vice President of training and development and oversees all sales development, sales support, training and field support services. Burgholzer brings with him 22 years of experience in the automotive industry from sales to dealer principal. Having successfully founded and managed multiple independent dealerships, Burgholzer has a deep understanding of the market segment.
Laurence Tutt, CIO/CTO
Laurence Tutt, Senior Vice President of Warrantech, has more than 20 years of industry experience in data center strategy, sales and IT operations. He has successfully led numerous data center and IT transformation programs, aligning business objectives and technology directions to allow for a fully integrated and streamlined operation. Tutt also leads the direct-to-consumer sales division, which markets service contract programs on behalf of retailers and manufacturers, and is a distinguished United States Air Force veteran.
Tom Fontanetta, Senior Vice President, Technology
Tom Fontanetta serves as Senior Vice President – Technology for Warrantech Corporation. He has been with Warrantech for 25 years, and has served in various Information Systems, Business Engineering, and Technology positions. Among Mr. Fontanetta’s responsibilities are the management and direction of the Software Development and Data Acquisition functions for Warrantech and its subsidiaries.
Robert Cota, Vice President, Claims
Robert Cota, Vice President of Claims Warrantech, joined the company in 2005 and oversees the claims operation. During his 30 years of experience in the service contract industry, Mr. Cota has held various executive positions in product development and business management for AIG Insurance Co., Kemper Insurance Co., Heritage Mutual Insurance Co. and national third-party administrators.
